Coffee futures contracts started working on the negative side of the chart on the New York Stock Exchange (ICE Future US) this Wednesday afternoon (23). Around 1:08 pm (Brasília time), the expiration March/23 operated the trading floor quoted at 162.70 cents/lbp and with a drop of 200 points, while the May/23 recorded a retreat of 160 points and priced at 162.80 cents/lbp.


The maturity July/23 fell by 165 points and was quoted at 162.25 cents/lbp. The September/23 contract was operating with a drop of 180 points and worth 161.45 cents/lbp.

At 1:12 pm (Brasília time), maturities on the London Stock Exchange also operate with devaluations. The January/23 contract had a drop of US$ 18 per ton, traded at US$ 1816. The March/23 contract recorded a drop of US$ 10 per ton, traded at US$ 1794. The May/23 contract fell by US$ 7 per ton, worth US$ 1,784 and the expiry of July/23 with a drop of US$ 6 per ton, negotiated for US$ 1,765.

According to Reuters information, the dollar returned initial losses and alternated stability and high against the real this Wednesday, as investors monitored the attempt to challenge the polls by President Jair Bolsonaro's party and awaited the definition of the text of the PEC of Transition.


“At 10:27 am (Brasília time), the spot dollar advanced 0.09%, to 5.3845 reais on sale. Earlier, the currency fell 0.65%, to 5.3450 reais, but gradually recovered ground over the first hour of work,” reported Reuters.
